The Heart Rhythm Clinic has international recognition as a high-volume centre of excellence in arrhythmia management and research. But, how did I give it heart?
The Heart Rhythm Clinic was established by Professor Rukshen Weerasooriya in 2003. The clinic is a private medical practice specialising in the management of cardiac electrical disorder. The practice offers a boutique, highly specialised and individualised service to private patients in Western Australia. Professor Weerasooriya’s vision was for a brand that would showcase his staff and the practices holistic approach to treatment.
The logo is an abstraction of the heart, indicating the fractioned chambers that Professor Weersooriya specialises in. As a way to make the clinic less sterile and form trust with patients, the branding incorporates imagery of the staff, clinic and the operating theatr. There is a focus on lifestyle images that show the moments in life that patients can continue to enjoy with this treatment.
